Floatsam

A woman floats suspended in murky waters that dissolve into the void of space—half alive, half letting go. A place where answers blur and dissolve, where existence is never black or white but something in between.

For the "Black and White" collective show at Slice Gallery, I created a piece using pencil and charcoal, a material I usually reserve for sketching. Its unfinished, malleable quality invited deeper exploration of light and dark, balancing intuitive mark making with a structured process.

Flowers

A portrait opening like a wound, vulnerable but not fully trusting exposure. It shows enough to be seen, and keeps enough to stay unknown.
